Our room was on the first floor of the unit and had a large balcony overlooking the garden. The room has air-conditioning and also a ceiling fan which we used throughout our stay. 2 bottles of water were placed in the room as complementary but there is a water dispenser unit close to the reception counter which they encourage guests to use. A great way to minimize plastic waste. WiFi was available throughout the property and worked well, whether in the room or at the restaurant. Housekeeping would visit the room to draw the mosquito net over the bed and spray the room every evening, to keep mosquitos at bay. We saw no mosquitoes in the room, on our arrival. They keep a bottle of bug spray in the room for guests to use, just in case. The restaurant at the lodge is right on the banks of the Zambezi river. The breakfast spread was very good and the restaurant has open air seating as well as covered seating. But the ambience of sitting on the banks of the Zambezi simply can’t be beat! This was the highlight of every meal we had at the lodge. Do watch out for monkeys at breakfast time, though, so best not to leave your plate unattended! Staff were great, especially the restaurant staff whom we met quite often considering our regular visits to the restaurant. It is a very nice property owned by Safpar (Safari Par Excellence) which has their tour office conveniently on the premises. We booked some of their tours including the Sunset cruise on the Zambezi and the Game Drive in the Mosi-oa-tunya park known for its white rhinos, elephants and antelope. They were excellent. They also provide transfers from and to Livingstone Airport, which we availed of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The Victoria Falls Waterfront was a fantastic find. It is located very close to all the action including the sunset cruise, Victoria Falls, the Devil’s Pool, Livingston Island and a national reserve where you can walk with the rhinos before brekkie if you like. I selected activities through the information centre at this hotel. They can also arrange taxis should you wish to organise your own schedule. The hotel’s Garden View rooms literally have a garden view. They are compact, very clean with constant electricity and hot water. The beds were extra comfy. It has two pools, one near the restaurant/bar, although I didn’t see anyone entering that one, and a second near the Garden View rooms and tents. The pools were very clean, but nippy. I jumped in each day as they offered relief from the heat, when the sun decided to shine through the rain clouds. It rains a lot in summer. Brekkie had a good range of tasty food, and the pizzas made my tummy happy. Staff tried their upmost to make your stay enjoyable. But I think this is Zambian people in general. What an amazing country.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the service and attitude of the staff was incredible. The room was facing the park and we watched baboons stroll by in the morning . Each evening there was a turn down service with the mosquito nets arranged around tge bed. They supplied a can of aerosol in the room to spray if needed. The restaurant alongside the river enabled us to have numerous sunsets. The breakfast which was included in our rate was top class with perfect coffee available from  either the buffet ,free or ordered from the bar ,extra. Dinners were exceptional quality and there is  also  a pizza oven. Taxis and shuttles were very well ordered . Timothy and his crew at the activities desk booked our cruises and transfers to our onward destination after our stay. They advised us of many places to visit in Livingstone. This was a wonderful stay.

The location is epic. From the terrace you see The Smoke that Thunders downstream. And upstream the sunsets are spectacular. At around 4pm the sun shines on the steam rising from the Falls creating beautiful rainbows. The gardens in which the rooms are located are lush, we saw two giant kingfishers, a hammerkop which has built a massive nest in one of the trees, and crocodiles and monitor lizards right by our room. Comfy rooms with AC and balconies or terraces overlooking the gardens. The restaurant makes delicious pizza in a proper pizza oven and the rack of ribs is top class. Staff were great, and management even emailed us to let us know of an event next door which may have caused some noise. Although we did hear it, it wasn't too intrusive and a great touch to be forewarned. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Friendly staff with helpful tourist desk. I was only there for one night and squeezed in the microlite (from Livingston adventures) then the sunset cruise and game drive which is a great value combo the lodge offers, before walking along the falls. The dinner on sunset cruise was yummy! You'll need dollars for park fees. I'd also stick on Zambia side of falls, went to Zim side but didn't see the hype (plus it's 100USD with visa and park entry costs so not worth it). Full breakfast and tasty dinners, cute monkeys around and spotted a lizard!
